Welcome to my web gallery where you can see my latest back-lit glass paintings, art pieces, oil paintings and photographs. Abram’s unique mélange of mediums adds to the beauty of his contemporary art pieces. He works with materials like liquid plastic, liquid porcelain, oil paint mixture, transparent prints and then back-lights them.
Theses Back-Lit Glass Paintings look amazing in residential and commercial spaces. They have been featured in restaurants, offices, commercial buildnings, homes, interiors and exteriors.
Abram began painting as an outlet to express himself after the death of his fourteen year old sister -- he was fifteen.
As a result, Abram created a series of abstract paintings that reflected his thoughts on death and the pain one goes through in dealing with tragedy. Painting with browns, yellows and whites along with mixing the paint with sand and oil, Abram's Torn Series is high in contrast and rich with texture.
At times, Abram uses his unique method of painting to create his explosive landscapes. Occassionally, he reverts to the traditional method of Oil on Canvas to create colorful and dramatic scenes.
Abram uses a mixture of high quality oil paints, lite beach sand & rock and oil mediums, producing a thick paint texture while still keeping the vibrant rich color of oil paint. All of the landscapes are produced from photographs taken by Abram himself.
